Naples, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast Trip

Naples, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast
(sorry...this trip has reached its max limit)

Exploring Burgundy
The Campania region of Italy, as well as its capital of Naples, is soaked in centuries of brilliant history. Simply take a look at the many stunning Greek and Roman ruins that dot the landscape. During our trip, we’ll visit two of the best examples of these ruins: Pompeii, a grand city that was an indomitable fixture in ancient society, destroyed by the 79 A.D. eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, and Paestum, which was a major city in the part of ancient Greece then known as the Magna Graecia.

Of course, we’ll spend plenty of time in the city of Naples itself, which was a big player in the prominent history of Italy. In fact, for over five centuries, Naples was the seat of the kingdom. This history can still be discovered today, although the town hasn’t quite regained the powerful status it once had in ancient times. The upside? Naples has the best pizza…ever!

Our trip culminates at the Amalfi Coast, perhaps best known as the place limoncello was birthed! We’ll be there at the peak of spring, which means flowers will be blossoming and the weather will be perfect. There are plenty of seaside towns to visit, and we’ll have a luxurious villa overlooking one of the most beautiful spots in Italy, right on top of the cliffs of Ravello. With an infinity pool and Jacuzzi, a lush lemon grove, and a sprawling outdoor cabana, there’s plenty to do at the villa—and the town is just a brisk walk away. It’s the perfect vacation you won’t ever forget!
